# Export a Wallet's Private Key

Forge allows you to view and export the private keys of a given wallet into a different solana wallet (e.g. Phantom.) Here's how

### Tap the start menu.

### Choose your export format.

You can export the wallet's private key in phantom format or CLI format. In most cases, you'll select phantom format.&#x20;
